Initially conceived as a sleep aid following the birth of his first child, over time Don Yule’s debut album ‘Lantern’ became something far deeper and more reflective - a new-age hymn to those sleepless nights and the pride of new fatherhood.
The 13 tracks that comprise it blend into each other, ebbing and flowing over a bed of synth, with minimalism-esque repeating figures and samples all contributing to the twilight mood.
Lantern is Don Yule's debut album and follows his two original soundtracks for Mining Moon (2016) and Limit(Less) Sex & Love (2018).
