Rubik

Standing around the seal, the members of the whale and dolphin group discussed how best to free it from the entangled net. It was proving increasingly difficult, however, as with every doomed lunge of the cutter the animal panicked and tried to attack the members, biting and struggling to get away. “Don’t bite me, I’m trying to help you!” cried one of them after yet another unsuccessful attempt. But persist they must as without the luxury of time the rescue attempt could not afford to falter.
Two short solo piano pieces reflect this part of the rescue and make up parts 3 & 4 overall of the work-in-progress 'Seal Rescue at The Hook, June 2012'.
